As Mark says, it's a bit of a trick question. Your timing is great to get refinance, with interest rates being so low. I would never just speak to one bank. You should get quotes from a few. That's a trick question.. I would suggest you first ask your regular banking account manager.. = = = If I was paying off a mortgage--and never missed a PYMT--?? I'd go shopping for money..WHERE..?? Just about every bank I have ever used was bought out by the Bank of America(or along the way)..that's what happened..eventually..the Bank of America came to be my most favored banking institution.. I would say..technology was the thru-put of such a business.. I would then add that your chances are good at Bank of America.. = = = What else is there..?? I'd look at Well's Fargo..for what they can do for a mortgage.. I might shy away form Corporate Credit Unions.. I'd stop playing the lottery.. Look at my automobile for a savings there.. Check with the US Government for a Energy Savings package--maybe a loan for useing alternative energy.
