Question: Major indexes worth noting?

I want to chart the indexes for major markets to determine relationships... what markets should I include? which indexes? I am interested in foreign markets as well, any suggestions on foreign markets to include? i want to determine any long term relationships, not so much current..

Nikkei, Dax and FTSE are the three major "foreign " markets/ indexes. As for relationships with everyone still on the US housing market bust that is the only relationship going on right now.
