Question: What company would you recommend for home refinance?

I refinanced a year ago with Countrywide, and I am not happy with them.

Countrywide dos NOT own your loan. They sold it almost immediately after you signed the paperwork. ANYONE you refinance with will do the same. There are actually only about half a dozen companies in the US that actually service mortgages.
