Question: Does anyone know of a reasonable/cheap attorney that deals with home mortgages issues?

Here in Houston, Texas. An Attorney that can help out since we don't have much money to even afford and attorney I though they might me someone who can help out. The mortgage company is trying to screw us over and nothing gets resolved over the phone.

As Dilbert suggests, try legal aid. Answers here are very likely to be from con men, seeing you are a victim they can also screw over. While we can not directly help, I and several others here are very familiar with mortgage contracts and if you ask specifically about your issue may be able to offer some guidance. The likelihood of you requiring an attorney is slim.....but I don't know the issue.

Lone Star Legal Aid provides free civil legal assistance to low-income individuals and families who have immediate needs but cannot afford an attorney. Google them.
