Countrywide tries their best to force people into foreclosure. Since you are so close to closing, see if you can get a clause in your mortgage to NOT have your loan sold to Countrywide.

While I have not personally worked with Quicken, as a real estate broker, some of my clients have attempted to do so. Generally, they were not impressed nor pleased with Quicken. You can see some of what occurs with Quicken at the supplied URL. Take heed.

Oh yea, they wanted to escrow 1 1/ 2 times the costs of things not completed in new construction, due to winter weather. Look, most time when something goes wrong with a loan package, you can't get them on the phone. A delayed closing could cost you money. Work with local banks or lenders, that way you can leave the closing and stand in front of their desk to resolve an isue.
